Introduction to Sets in Discrete Structure

Introduction

Set is defined as a collection of distinct objects of same type or class of objects.
THe objects of a set are called elements or members of the set . Objects can be numbers , alphabets , Names etc.

e.g : - A{1.2.3.4.5}

A is  a Set of Numbers containing elements 1,2,3,4 and 5

Set Formation

The Set can be formed by Two Ways:

(i)Tabular Form of a Set

(ii)Builder form of a Set
